Camp Mirage’s mission is to provide the highest quality summer camp experience by giving kids the excitement, camaraderie, and feel of an overnight camp within a day camp setting. Our goal is to inspire and enrich the lives of our campers, their families, and our counselors through transformative programs that spark joy, build confidence, and create lasting memories and life skills that will empower them for the journey ahead.

In 2000, Cara Trost created a summer camp that had the feel and camaraderie of an overnight camp, all within a day camp setting. What started as a single-location camp at a large recreation center expanded, due to overwhelming demand, into two locations in Plymouth, Michigan. These locations serve 400 children daily with a waitlist of hundreds, a testament to the camp’s popularity and success.

Camp Mirage has found a niche where kids can choose from 40 different weekly options, ensuring they never get bored but always feel at home. More than just a camp, Camp Mirage has a profound impact on the kids, their families, our staff, and the community as a whole, inspiring a sense of connection and belonging. Our franchise model is designed to provide comprehensive support and guidance to our partners, ensuring they can replicate the success of Camp Mirage in their local communities.
